Durante el 2009 se registraron 12 cortes, afectando a más de 22 mil 272 usuarios. El año 2010 ocurrieron 2 interrupciones que afectaron a 8.300 clientes. En el 2011 se registraron cuatro cortes causados por challa metálica que afectaron amplios sectores del centro y sur de Iquique. Durante la llegada del año 2012 no se registraron cortes por esta causa.
